Emily-Anne is a 2006 graduate from the
prestigious Point Park University Dance Conservatory with a dance
concentration in Jazz. While attending Point Park Emily-Anne was featured
in multiple performances at The Pittsburgh Playhouse. Most recently, Emily-Anne has toured with The PULSE, featuring choreographers from So You Think You Can Dance. She worked along side artists such as Wade Robson, Mia Michaels, Brian Friedman, Cris Judd, Dave Scott, Shane Sparks, Tyce Diorio and Laurie-Ann Gibson, helping coordinate a 15-city international dance convention tour. As a full-time staff member of Broadway Dance Center for last two years she was able to work closely with some of the industries most sought after instructors and choreographers. She continues to work for Mia Michaels Corporation, Mia Michaels Artworkz Inc, as her Personal Assistant in charge of fan communications. In the past, she has danced for many charity events including the Humane Society, Make-A-Wish, MDA, and AIDS benefits. Emily-Anne has danced for the Syracuse Symphony at the Syracuse Civic Center Fund Raiser and she was also featured on "Mike Price Around Town" on WIXT Channel 9 News. Additional events Emily-Anne has participated in include, Balloonfest where she opened for Blessed Union of Souls and Evan & Jaron, Magic Music Days in Walt Disney World Florida, NY Coca-Cola Showcase at the NY State Fair, Women Celebrating the Arts with Ted and Amy in the Morning, and Broadway Dance Center's Student Showcase. Throughout her career as a dancer, Emily-Anne has competed in hundreds of competitions and charity events where she earned numerous high score awards, medals, ribbons and trophies. Emily-Anne is thrilled to be back in her hometown to share her experience, talent, passion and love for dance with the youth of our community. |
